January 2026
- Justa, the new feature film by Teresa Villaverde, in which I worked on editing, was selected for the Berlin Critic’s Week.
It will screen on the 15th of February 2026 at 8pm at Hackesche Höfe Kino.
- This month I started working on the project Está do Aço - E9G organized by Associação Questão Repetida. Está do Aço is a social intervention project promoted by the Portuguese Republic and IPDJ, I.P and it’s cofinanced by Algarve 2030, Portugal 2030 and the European Union through the European Social Fund.
It aims to help children and young people from Lagos (coming from multi-challenged contexts) discover new personal, educational, and professional pathways through art.
I will be working with the students, creating a video for a community performance entitled Vozes Comuns (Common Voices) that will be presented on February 27 in Lagos.
- The short film I edited, Estou a sentir qualquer coisa by Nuno Pimentel, will premiere at Semaine de la Critique de Montreal (Canada)!
December 2025
- Comercial premiere in Portugal of Justa by Teresa Villaverde, feature film I co-edited.
November 2025
- Happiness in a pot and Bonjour Eric are screening at Mostra Internacional de Cinema de Faro (PT)
- I will start teaching at ETIC_Algarve (Faro). The module Introduction to Cinema of the course Directing for cinema and TV is an introduction to film history.
October 2025
- Still—moving, the documentary feature I’m developing, was selected to pitch at Ji.hlava New Visions Forum (Czech Republic): https://cineuropa.org/en/newsdetail/484753
- Classes started at Ar.Co Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, where I’m teaching in the Cinema/Moving image course. Video Lab I is a project development class and Workshop de rodagem is a training for shooting situations.
- 05.10.2025 - World Premiere of Justa (feature film I co-edited) at Festival do Rio (BR).
